These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you and AnyVet Co., Ltd. (Thailand) and Anyvet AI Co., Ltd. (South Korea), collectively referred to as "AnyVet", "we", "us", or "our". In the context of data protection, AnyVet entities act as Joint Controllers as described in the Privacy Policy.
These Terms govern your access to and use of the website www.anyvetmicrochip.com and all related microchip registration, lookup, and management services provided by AnyVet (collectively, the "Services").
By creating an account and checking the "I agree to the Terms and Conditions" checkbox during registration, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. Browsing the website alone does not constitute acceptance.
For users in South Korea, explicit consent is required in accordance with the Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA), with separate consent checkboxes for mandatory and optional items.
Users under 18 years of age must obtain parental or legal guardian consent before using the Services. In South Korea, additional requirements apply for children under 14.
Residents of Thailand or users accessing services through AnyVet Co., Ltd. are subject to Annex A. Residents of South Korea or users accessing services through Anyvet AI Co., Ltd. are subject to Annex B. All other users are subject to Thai law as the default governing law.
You must be at least 18 years of age to create an account. Users under 18 require parental or legal guardian consent.
You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to update your information promptly when it changes.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities under your account. You must notify AnyVet immediately upon becoming aware of any unauthorized access.
Each individual may maintain only one account. Creating multiple accounts is prohibited.
You may request account deletion at any time through account settings or customer support. Note that microchip registration data may be retained in the Registry for animal identification purposes as described in our Privacy Policy.
The registration process consists of: (1) microchip implantation at a partner hospital, (2) registration information entry by the hospital or user, and (3) registry registration completion.
Data Accuracy — User's Sole Responsibility: AnyVet does not guarantee the accuracy of user-submitted data. You are solely responsible for ensuring that all registration information is accurate and complete. AnyVet is not liable for consequences arising from inaccurate information, including failure to track or recover lost animals.
The registry is NOT a substitute for physical identification methods such as collar tags or tattoos. Microchip scanning depends on scanner compatibility and operator skill, which AnyVet does not control. Successful animal recovery relies on third-party infrastructure including internet connectivity and scanner availability.
When registration data is entered by a partner hospital on behalf of the user, the user remains responsible for verifying the accuracy of the information. AnyVet holds partner hospitals accountable through separate partnership agreements.
Registration information may be edited within 30 days of microchip implantation. After 30 days, changes require a separate process through customer support.
Users should report a pet's death to update the registry status. This prevents false found-pet reports and maintains registry integrity. Deceased status can be reported through account settings or customer support.
Transfer of pet ownership requires the current registered owner's approval and follows AnyVet's established transfer procedure.
In cases of ownership disputes, AnyVet maintains the currently registered owner's information. Dispute resolution is through the courts or relevant authorities in the applicable jurisdiction. AnyVet has no obligation to mediate ownership disputes.
All listed fees include VAT (Value Added Tax) unless otherwise stated.
AnyVet uses commercially reasonable efforts to provide the Services but does not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free, or secure operation.
Planned maintenance will be conducted with prior notice where possible, minimizing service impact.
AnyVet is not liable for service interruptions caused by technical failures, network issues, security incidents, or other factors beyond our reasonable control.
AnyVet is not liable for failure to perform obligations due to natural disasters, war, government actions, epidemics, telecommunications failures, or other events beyond reasonable control (force majeure).
All trademarks, logos, software, designs, text, images, and database structures within the Services are owned by AnyVet or its licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
AnyVet grants you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable, limited license to access and use the Services for personal, non-commercial purposes in accordance with these Terms.
You retain ownership of data you upload (such as pet photos and information). By uploading content, you grant AnyVet a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, and display such content for service operation and registry purposes.
You may not reproduce, modify, distribute, reverse engineer, or create derivative works from any part of the Services. Violations may result in immediate account termination and legal action.
AnyVet does not guarantee the accuracy of content provided by third parties, including partner hospitals.
Your personal data is collected, used, and shared in accordance with our Privacy Policy, which forms an integral part of these Terms.
By accepting these Terms, you also acknowledge and accept the Privacy Policy as it applies to your use of the Services.
Microchip registration data may be retained in the Registry for animal identification public interest purposes even after account deletion, as detailed in the Privacy Policy's Data Retention and Your Rights sections.
The Services may contain links to third-party websites or services over which AnyVet has no control. The terms and privacy policies of such third-party services apply separately.
Partner hospitals are independent businesses. AnyVet is not responsible for the quality, safety, pricing, or outcomes of veterinary services provided by partner hospitals. AnyVet provides the microchip registry service only.
Programmatic access to microchip lookup APIs and similar services is governed by separate agreements (API Terms of Use).
THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS. ANYVET MAKES NO EXPRESS OR IMPLIED WARRANTIES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ACCURACY, COMPLETENESS, OR UNINTERRUPTED OPERATION.
AnyVet does not guarantee the accuracy of user-submitted microchip registration data.
AnyVet does not guarantee the recovery of lost animals.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, ANYVET'S TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT PAID BY YOU TO ANYVET IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.
ANYVET SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, SPECIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO DATA LOSS, SERVICE INTERRUPTIONS, OR THIRD-PARTY ACTIONS.
These disclaimers and liability limits are subject to applicable mandatory consumer protection laws. Rights that cannot be excluded by law remain unaffected. See Annex A and Annex B for jurisdiction-specific details.

These Terms are effective from the date you create an account and remain in effect until your account is terminated.

Minor changes, such as typographical corrections or wording clarifications, will take effect immediately upon posting.
Your continued use of the Services after the notification period constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms. If you do not agree with the changes, you may terminate your account.
Unless otherwise specified in an applicable Annex, these Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Thailand.
Users covered by Annex A (Thailand) are subject to Thai law and Thai courts. Users covered by Annex B (South Korea) are subject to Korean law and Korean courts. All other users are subject to Thai law as the default.
Before initiating any legal proceedings, both parties shall attempt to resolve disputes through good-faith negotiation for a period of 30 days from written notice of the dispute.
These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and AnyVet regarding your use of the Services, superseding all prior agreements.
AnyVet's failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms shall not constitute a waiver of such right or provision.
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
You may not assign or transfer your rights or obligations under these Terms without AnyVet's prior written consent. AnyVet may assign its rights and obligations to affiliates or business successors.
